Compensation: $13.00 - $15.00 + tips (on average $2.50-$4 per hour)
Position begins in May with availability through October
$300 bonus to work through Labor Day / $500 bonus to work through October
About the position
- Weekday and weekend availability is preferred. Most shifts are 6-8 hours with some part-time shifts available.
- Seasonal positions are great for students, retirees, or anyone interested in a fun and enriching spring/summer job.
- Seasonal retail members are an essential part of the team here at GDC. We value all the hard work that goes into our busiest season here at the shop. Spring/summer in the shop is busy, fast paced, and requires physical/mental stamina, enthusiasm for learning, and a positive attitude.
- Seasonal retail members work with and under the guidance of managers, shift leads, and year-round staff.
- Physical Requirements - Ability to be on foot for long periods of time; stamina to stand for 6-7 hours at a time. Frequently lifting 25 lbs or more throughout a shift. - Ability to speak in an informed way about our products, the processing of chocolate in general, and ingredients used.
