Chocolate Tasting & Class

Our fun and informative tasting classes are back and we can't wait to host you! We'll taste chocolate in all its forms and share with you the fascinating story of our world's favorite treat. 

Here are some of the topics included in our tasting:

... delve into the world of chocolate with a guided tasting of cacao nibs/beans, 100% chocolate (technically liquor or mass), dark chocolate, milk chocolate, white chocolate and several of our signature items.

… learn about the 4 major steps in producing great chocolate (harvest, post-harvest production, manufacturing and confectionary technique)

... hear about our sourcing philosophies and where we purchase our ingredients.

... explore the rich history of fine cacao and chocolate and efforts to preserve cacao for generations to come!

A few things to note:

- Classes last 1 - 1.5 hours depending on the size of your group. If your group is larger than 6 people, please reach email us (classes@grocersdaughter.com) so that we make arrangements for our larger space.

- Please let us know if anyone in your group has allergies and we'll do our best to accommodate them.

- Class age: 12 years + (we can cater this class to a younger audience with advance notice)

- Class participants receive 10% off all purchases the day of the class.
